MARLINS PARK

MIAMI, FLORIDA

Mural of baseball players in colorful panels. Wall inside a building.

In April of 2012, Sports & the Arts unveiled the Marlins Park Photographic Collection. Under the guidance of team owner and art dealer Jeffrey Loria, Sports & the Arts created over 20,000 square feet of wall graphics and installed 500 pieces of photography and art throughout public and private spaces at the new Marlins Park. Inspired by the iconic pop artists of the 1960s and 1970s, several installations paid tribute to Miro, Mondrian, and Saint Phalle.

Several historic installations were developed such as “Baseball’s Greatest Moments” and “History of Baseball in Miami”, with the intent to bring the past to the present and keeping history alive.
